RABINDRANATH TAGORE
Rabindranath Thakur was born as the child of Maharishi Devendranath Tagore and Sharada Devi on 7 May 1861 at Addasanko Thakurbari, Calcutta. He did his schooling at the prestigious St. Xavier's School. Studied law from the University of London. He was married to Mrinalini Devi in 1883. From childhood, he had an amazing talent in poetry, verses and language. He wrote the first poem at the age of eight and his short story was published in 1883 at the age of only sixteen.
