‘Mark Twain’ (1835–1910) was an American author, humorist and publisher. He is lauded as one of the greatest American writers of all time. His notable works include, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1876) and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884), popularly called "the Great American Novel". His works brought him nationwide attention and he was also a successful public speaker.
